Home Stretch Mark Removal

One of the most popular topics we hear about on a regular basis is how to remove stretch marks or if it can even be done.

It may be a surprise to you, but it is possible to remove stretch marks from your body much of the time.  There are a number of ways to get rid of stretch marks, and each method will depend on your budget, your patience and of course your body.  It shouldn’t be a surprise that deeper stretch marks will be much more difficult to remove than thinner, lighter ones.

There are many home remedies with ingredients you may find in your kitchen or bathroom, and some of these work to a certain extent although many others may just be old wives tales.  An example of this is potato juice.  Ehow claims that potato juice will do little or nothing to remove stretch marks but the website positivemed claims that it will help.  It is my opinion that while remedies like this may not help a great deal, they are very inexpensive and might be worth a try.  Just don’t expect a lot of results.

Before we get into other home stretch mark removal methods that I feel have a better chance of success, we should look at probably the best – and most expensive option of removing stretch marks.  Laser stretch mark removal.  By visiting a clinic or some registered spas, technicians can remove stretch marks by using a specially designed laser system.  The process is not instant – it can take several visits – sometimes up to ten or more before stretch marks are removed or diminished.  Again, this depends on the amount of stretch marks and their depth.  Most clinics that perform laser removal charge per visit, usually between $150 and $250 per visit, so the cost can add up quickly.  But if you have the cash and the time to make the visits, this is a great option if you really want those stretch marks removed.

The last method I’d like to talk about is another home remedy, but instead of using common household items like potatoes, this method uses specially formulated creams that you apply at home regularly to slowly diminish the stretch marks.  Rather than going into great detail about it here in this article, I suggest you check out how to get rid of stretch marks at this very informative site.

In our next article we will talk about another skin care issue that is very popular and yet a taboo subject – anal bleaching.  Until then, thank you for visiting our site and look forward to seeing you again.
